Tricoderm is a professional trichological hair and scalp care range with a history dating back to 1995 in Scandinavia, in the Finnish city of Vaasa. The development of the range is linked to the long-standing work of biotechnologist Dr. Sebastiano Zappalà in the field of trichology and the T4 trichological method.

Trichology in Scandinavia since 1995
In 1995, the development and introduction of a professional trichological approach began in Vaasa, Scandinavia. Dr Sebastiano Zappalà was also involved in the establishment of the Finnish Trichology Association, while the T4 method was first taught in Finland and later in Estonia and Sweden. The Tricoderm system is based on assessing the condition of the scalp and hair and selecting care accordingly.

Tricoderm focuses not only on the visible hair fibre but above all on the condition of the scalp and the environment surrounding the hair follicles. IGIENIT and deep scalp cleansing
One of the key principles of the Tricoderm trichological system is thorough scalp cleansing. IGIENIT with 5% glycolic acid is designed to remove dead skin cells, flaking, excess sebum and accumulated residue from the scalp. A clean scalp provides better conditions for the subsequent use of trichological care products.
